I have been a Primary school teacher for over 25 years and have worked in a number of West Sussex schools, both small village schools and larger urban schools. I also have vast experience as a Headteacher in a number of different schools and understand both the joys and challenges of working in and running small rural schools. I spent a very enjoyable and rewarding two terms undertaking the Acting Headteacher role at this school whilst Wendy Millbanks was on maternity leave, between January and July 2014.  Having recently retired from my most recent Headship in a small rural Primary school, I am now looking forward to using my experience and expertise to support the excellent staff and enthusiastic, hard-working children here, to ensure the school continues to be the best it can be.
