Foundation Governor - Curriculum Committee

I live in Balcombe with my husband Neil and we have three teenage children Alex, Harriet and Ella.  My two daughters attended the school and have very happy memories of their time as pupils.

I’ve been a Foundation Governor since 2011 and Chair of the Curriculum Committee since September 2014. I hold the role of Safeguarding Governor and have recently taken over responsibility for Early Years.

I work in the village as an Office Manager looking after a small family business and I also have a part-time role in the NHS.  I have co-edited the Balcombe Parish Magazine for the last six years and am involved with children’s work at St Mary’s Church.   In the past I have worked in the field of Human Resources and I also spent three years working as a classroom assistant in the nursery of a Montessori school in London.

I very much enjoy being a Governor and part of a thriving village school. We have a team of truly dedicated staff who provide a fabulous all-round education in a warm and caring atmosphere.  I look forward to continuing my work as a Governor and assisting with moving the school into the future.
